Mission Statement
The University of New Mexico's Pre-Medical Society has a mission to spread awareness to the community about opportunities that exist within all fields of medicine. We are an organization made for and run by UNM undergraduate students. One of our primary goals is to provide students with information and resources pertaining to volunteering, shadowing, and research. Additionally, we try to bring awareness regarding issues in the healthcare field that affect the world today, especially those that affect the state of New Mexico. Ultimately, our aim is to encourage members to network, support, and share resources with other aspiring pre-medical and pre-health students so that we can all effectively navigate our academic paths and be well-prepared for our future healthcare endeavors.

I joined the Pre-Medical Society because I wanted to connect with others who share my passion and aspirations. I believe that by coming together, we can offer each other the support and encouragement we need to navigate this challenging yet rewarding path. |
